MEET HARRY DUDLEY

Harry Dudley, a spirited nine-year-old living in the alpine region of North East Victoria, was born with Spina Bifida. While he can walk short distances, he faces challenges such as slower mobility and tripping over, necessitating a manual wheelchair for journeys over 400m or on uneven surfaces.

Despite these obstacles, Harry and his family embrace an active lifestyle promoted by their region. Harry is an active member of the local mountain bike club, enjoys swimming in the summer, and recently joined Auskick. To support his passion for cycling, especially on trails, Harry uses a powered mountain bike. However, as he was outgrowing his current bike, the Dudley family sought assistance from the John MacLean Foundation (JMF) to obtain a new one.

With great pleasure, JMF granted Harry $6,000 to acquire a new motorised mountain bike, ensuring he can stay actively involved in the sport he loves and pursue his dream of reaching higher levels of competition.
