“I love being involved with JMF because it feels so good to give”.

In 1988, John Maclean's life changed dramatically when an 8-tonne truck struck him while cycling near his hometown. Despite multiple fractures, punctured lungs, and paralysis, John's spirit thrived. His achievements range from conquering the Hawaii Ironman and English Channel swim to representing Australia in the Olympics. In 2014, he took his first steps towards walking again after 25 years in a wheelchair.

Guided by "only possibilities," John's vision extended to JMF, which empowers Australian children needing wheelchairs to achieve exceptional feats on their terms. John's dedication to rejecting the term "disability" echoes in JMF's ethos. His unwavering determination invites embracing limitless potential.
