MEET JASON EGAN

The John Maclean Foundation supports Jason Egan's "BIG PUSH." Jason, a seven-year-old with an extremely rare cerebellum malformation, has weak muscle tone, cannot sit or talk, and has a fragile immune system, often requiring hospital stays. To aid in his care, he now uses a peg feeder for nourishment. As Jason grows heavier, his father, Jamie, pushed him in a wheelchair for over two years, participating in charity runs and the Melbourne marathon to raise funds.

Jamie's dedication prompted a 320-kilometer journey from Wodonga to Melbourne in just six days in November 2010. Jason's infectious smile in the fresh air during these outings brings joy to many hearts. The John Maclean Foundation contributed $5,000 to support Jamie and Jason's incredible efforts.
